Amadour is an artist and writer whose work moves between contemporary art, music, design, and cultural history through interviews, criticism, and long-form essays. Their writing bridges institutional discourse with contemporary culture, often focusing on artists, image-making, identity, and the shifting aesthetics of the American West.
In 2024, Amadour founded WHO IS SEEN, an artist-run publication publishing interviews, essays, and editorial features across art, music, film, fashion, and design.
Essays include commissions and features connected to the Richard Diebenkorn Foundation, the Holt/Smithson Foundation, and Noah Davis at The Underground Museum. Interviews include William Kentridge, George Condo, Luc Tuymans, Senga Nengudi, Tacita Dean, Jónsi, George Clinton, and Idina Menzel, among other leading figures across contemporary art, music, and performance.
